You just purchased a Bass Way computer.  Basic notes on maintaining your pc's performance Notes:
Turn Off System Restore, Disable Hibernation, Manage password to not expire, automatic updates, live updates
You think you have a virus. Use our system to get your pc in ship shape! Our Philosopy on computer maintenace
Once you are infected...you are almost...
A$$ out!  The new level of spyware is ridiculous.  Machines can only be taken apart and the drive cleaned from a second machine.  Safe mode attempts may get you half-way, but you can not fix your machine right without using a second machine.  It can take 8 hours or more to remove spyware/adware/malware/virus issues and try and keep your data.

Sometimes mbr's are affected and formatting your machine doesn't even help.  Thus our flat rate service.....$85 unless a special is running on page 1. http://bassway.org
tools to self fix are under Bass Way Computers

Windows Critical Updates, Norton Antivirus Updates, Spybot Scans, Ad-Aware Scans, Fdisk/mbr, SFC, Disk Clean Up, Rnav.exe, Online Scanners,

If you are gonna use file sharing you must manually.

1. Run windows critical update check everyday.
2. Run liveupdates for norton antivirus everyday.
3. Run housecall antivirus link full scan everyday
4. Update and run AD-aware everyday
5. update and run spybot everyday.

There are no exceptions if you run filesharing programs.

Other users can get by with once a week/month of the above rules.

Very easy solution.

Problem: Computer Logs off out when you login
Cause: Search Assistant (search bar aside the clock in windows)

3 Steps.

1.- Get into the recovery console (with boot disks, you can get them from microsoft page).

2.- Get the file userinit.exe from another NOT INFECTED computer. (located in windows/system32 folder)

3.- Overwrite the userinit.exe original file (from the infected computer) with the new one (use a cd or disk to transport it) (COMMAND: COPY e:/userinit.exe c:/windows/system32/userinit.exe)

4.- Rename the userinit.exe to wsaupdater.exe

5.- Exit and ENJOY.
